Ubuntu Institute CEO Prince Cedza Dlamini attended a pre-Grammys fundraising event as a guest of honour on Saturday night, February 9, 2008.

Oasis Entertainment’s 2008 Global Aid Initiatives event was hosted by Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Garth Hudson, and coincides with the release of a collaborative CD entitled >em>American Hotel. The proceeds from sales of the album will go to charity.

The Ubuntu Institute has joined forces with Oasis as a beneficiary organisation. Together they have begun production of another album, based on the Oasis non-profit model.

This fundraising marks the beginning of Dlamini’s speaking tour of several universities and events in America during the month of February.
